Recipe: www.healthyveganrecipes.net Baked meals like this potato cake recipe are just so satisfying in the winter, and vegans don’t usually get the benefit of them in restaurants. Keep it low fat by using rice milk, and this becomes one of those healthy vegan recipes that doesn’t taste like it should be healthy.

Hey! Sorry, I thought I had replied but my computer crashed after I left the comment, and it seems that it got deleted… anyway, I don’t tend to use cheese alternatives because I’ve been allergic my whole life and don’t feel a need for it. The best cheese replacement I’ve heard of is Daiya – do a google search for Daiya cheese and it will come up. Fairly natural ingredients, and I’ve been told it melts well.

i’ve just recently started transfering from a vegetarian diet to a vegan one.
it feels great and it’s a fairly smooth transition, excepting the part where i really liked cheese.

the strong taste of it coupled with the creaminess when it heats up, it’s gluey characteristic….. what would be a good alternative? something that melts in the same way (not picky about the taste)

thank you and lovely videos, keep going <3
