View full recipe at www.manjulaskitchen.com INGREDIENTS: Recipe for 4 servings: Jalebi Batter: 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon basen (gram flour) 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon oil 1/2 teaspoon yeast 1/3 cup and 2 tablespoons of warm water For the Syrup: 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water Pinch of cardamom powder Few strands of saffron 1 teaspoon of lemon juice Canola oil to fry

    Hi I am am an american Muslim married to a man from Tunisia and they also make jalabia in Tunisia and he loves them. I have never tried to make theim before he usually goes to the Indian market to buy they look easy to make I am Inshallah going to try to make some for him thanks for the recipe

    hello manjula aunty i tried ur recipe…thankyou but my jalebi seems to be empty inside even when i soaked the jalebi in syrup for 2 mins…n can still taste some of that yeast in it… can u plz tell me where i went wrong ??
