can you do a video on how they make the cheese on top of roasted potatoes? I tried to do that like the professionals but it didn’t look or taste like that :/

    – Thanks, I looked it up using Google. It was just a suggestion since the video was so rudimentary…I thought some simple instructions might have helped other beginners as well. :-)

There is a link to a Measurement and Temperature conversion chart on my channel page you might find useful 😉

  13. ELDK2008 says:

    – Thanks for the tips but, maybe you could include temp in F as well. If it is no trouble. Roughly 425F.

Also, I’m not a cook so, roasted is a mystery to me. I used bake on my oven. Maybe you could include simple instructions. After all, we are watching a video about cooking potatoes!

Again, thanks, I used your video to make my potatoes. I added butter, onions, apples and cut up asparagus after 20 minutes. My family love them. :-)

  14. peacefrog1916 says:

You should always part boil them first, before you stick them in the oven.

WOW! i made these with small pre washed potatoes, had no olive oil so i just rubbed margarine all over em. threw em in the toaster oven. and they came out GOOOOOD. only took 25 min for me. Thanks one pot chef.

  17. OnePotChefShow says:

No, just follow the instructions in the video 😉

  18. nuha54 says:

am i supposed boil the potatoes before i put them into the oven ?

  19. OnePotChefShow says:

Par-boiling can reduce the cooking time slightly, but when the potatoes are cut up like in this video, it’s not really worth it as there is no real time saving 😉

  20. IIGrayfoxII says:

    Any benefit to par boiling?

    You’re a badass

  22. Metsada007 says:

Thank you so much for this clear instruction. I always slice potatoes and roast them for 20-30 minutes. I guess that’s not really how roasted potatoes are supposed to be. I will try cutting them in quarters like you did and try it this way. Crisp on the outside and soft in the inside sounds very good. Thanks :)
