These meal replacements are such great blessings to vegetarians. They can eat a meat-free diet without compromising on flavor. I know of a good resource that also provides great tips to prepare tasty and nutritious vegetarian food. It’s the Vegetarian’s Beginner’s Guide 30 Day Course and they explain everything on their website: vegetariansbeginnersguide*com

I am a Vegetarian but in no way would I ever promote this video. I am sorry, but the only thing this woman here shows for vegetarian meat replacements are crap that typically has many preservatives in them that cause more harm to the body. These types of packaged foods are ok to consume occasionally but not for an every day diet. This woman should be talking about real food not “fake” “packaged” food.

That couldn’t be more false. If you want to stop eating meat, then stop. More power to you. I am a firm believer in religious freedom, so even going true Vegan is fine by me.

But please don’t be fooled. Textured soy protein meat substitutes are NOT a healthy replacement for meat. In most cases they are even more unhealthy than the meat they replace. The one exception being if you are morbidly obese and absolutely must stop all animal fats. It is still better to eat veggies than soy

If you’re vegetarian then why do you even like the concept of eating meat regardless whether or not it’s fake.

your spelling proves to me that you need meat

I miss being a vegetarian. I was for two years, then off and on the third year… :/ I want to do it again! After the first 2 weeks its not really that hard anymore… maybe I can get with it and stick with it this time (and eventually progress to vegan :D)

    Thanks for the video (:

there’s a big orgainic grocery store chain called Whole Foods Market that you might live near by. otherwise i’ve found small organic grocery stores and health food stores are pretty accmodating. walmart and food lion should stock the basics like tofu in the produce section and if all else fails you can always try requesting a product. i live near a Publix that lets me do that but they’re mostly a florida chain.

  25. SensibleStan says:

its not brainless, its a lifestyle choice. It would be a lot different if humans had to go out ad hunt their own food. Have a look at this doc, its actually pretty good: Earthlings, 10 part doc on youtube
