Good Measure Meals – Vegetarian Menu Options

| February 27, 2012 | 0 Comments The Good Measure Meals™ Vegetarian menu is the only fresh meal plan option in Georgia designed for the vegetarian community. Our lacto/ovo menu features a 5 week cycle of fresh fruits and vegetables, low fat dairy, whole grains, nuts and vegetable protein. Our culinary dietitian worked for six months researching and testing recipes for the development of this menu. She collaborated closely with our chefs who added their expertise and creativity. The menu features a healthy caloric balance of 18-22% protein, 27-30% healthy fats and 50-55% health-promoting carbohydrates. Introduced in 2009 this unique menu has been extremely well received. The choice of this plan will introduce you to some deliciously unique meals, such as Homestyle Garden Vegetable Frittata with cheddar cheese, broccoli, mushrooms and potatoes and served with spiced apple and raisin compote topped with pecans for breakfast, Tuscan cannellini bean stew with spinach, tomatoes and parmesan cheese for lunch and Lentil Roast made with steel cut oats, button mushrooms and cheese, topped with an herbed tomato sauce and served with low fat asiago scalloped potatoes and green beans with shallots and herbs for dinner. All meals in our Vegetarian meal plan are prepared in our Midtown Atlanta kitchen and delivered to you fresh with no added preservatives. Convenient pickup or delivery is available.
