As I was reading this new recipe book, I had just finished my leftovers from a Friday night date to a local Japanese restaurant so the sesame stir fry popped out when I saw the Table of Contents. I am also a beans lover from “way back” so I really like the Beans and Rice in a Bowl recipe and the Quinoa and Black Beans recipe as well.

Oh, and I did not realize this until lately, but I love Couscous! The wonderful thing above loving these foods is that they are vegetables and very nutritious as well as being delicious and the combinations here are outstanding. Oh my gosh – Loaded Baked Potatoe and Grilled Potatoes and Onion? I can just smell that aroma coming from the kitchen. And don’t forget the Veggie Pot Pie (I grew up on that) and the Hummus (another favorite) and Vegetable Pizza. Okay, this is a WINNER, you need to get this one!

As a now ex vegetarian (managed it for 16 years but finally gave into bacon!) and a qualified chef, I can certainly vouch for these easy to follow and delicious dinners.

I’m rapidly becoming a fan of recipe books on my Kindle, and especially of Shelley Lynne’s series.

Favourites in this book have got to be Basil & Tomato Risotto and Sizzlin’ Vegetable Fajitas – fantastic!

Do yourself a favour and treat your loved one to an irresistible home cooked meal this Valentines – and make sure it’s one of Shelley’s recipes!

I am not a true vegetarian but I try to eat as healthy as I can when I can so I am always on the look out for healthier recipes. The recipes in this book look very good and the best part for me is the way the author puts the recipes together, very easy to understand and carry out. I love Italian food so the first recipe I will take advantage of will be the “to die for spaghetti sauce” and of course the lasagna. The extra tips the author has added are very thoughtful as well. I will definitely check out her other titles.
